dungeongeek: (¤ Forever's an awfully long time.)
At least this place is looking up, huh?

Speaking of which, does anyone know of a good place to get a guitar? Well tuned one, I mean.

[ Filter to Isabelle ]

... Sorry I haven't been around much. Kind of been doing my own thing, really. Did you want to get dinner tonight?

[ Filter to Ange ]

Hey. Are you busy tomorrow? I wanted to show you something kinda awesome I found the other day.

[ Filter to Clary ]

...Long time no see, best friend.
dungeongeek: (¤ I thought it'd be something cooler)

You know, you'd think I'd be used to this waking up after long periods of time stuff by now but...

I'm really not. [ a weak laugh and shake of his head. He has some apologies to make about these sleep comas and general nonsense. Especially to Ange and Izzy -- ]

Sooo... who wants to let me in... What crazy shit is happening now?
dungeongeek: (¤ Meanwhile I wanted to tell you that)
Hey, guys! Wanted to know if anyone was busy later on. I know everyone's been busy with the whole repairing and rebuilding crap but... I wanted to have a small celebration, you know?

Grab some drinks, some good food, and find a rooftop that's in tact somewhere in the city.

[filter to isabelle]

And I'd like you to come, Izzy. I know you don't like me right now, but do this for me.

It's my birthday.
dungeongeek: (¤ Meanwhile I wanted to tell you that)
...Uh, guys. Is it just me, or did we go from the fiery heat of hell to the frigid cold of the Arctic?

I don't even have a jacket for this kind of cold.

I'm torn between melting outside and freezing inside.

No happy medium ever, huh, Somarium?

[ private to ange ]
Want to get lunch?

[ private to isabelle ]
Can we talk...? I just noticed something kinda big.
dungeongeek: (¤ Meanwhile I wanted to tell you that)
...Oh come on, this again?

Couldn't you have picked a bit more convenient time? You're two for two here, Somarium. Two for two. Doesn't that mean anything to you...?

No? Figured not...

[ A sigh, and he finally regards the Dreamberry in hand. ]

This still works the same, right?
dungeongeek: (¤ Because I foresee many romantic picnic)
Is it just me, or does there seem to be a lot more people lately?
dungeongeek: (¤ As soon as I’m back on my feet handsom)
...What the hell happened these past few weeks? It feels like I slept forever... Oh god, if I was somehow in a coffin during that time, spare me the details and let me keep thinking I slept in a comfortable bed.
dungeongeek: (¤ Those must be some killer late fees)
[ A slight bit of coughing before the video cuts in. Simon looks a bit more rumpled than usual, his hair uncombed, and small bags under his eyes. Either he just woke up from a long nap, or he had been trying to fall asleep for far too long. Either or -- ]

...Has anyone else been feeling ... uh... hungrier lately? Kinda appreciated the whole 'dri-- dine when you want' business but [ He breaks off to cough, turning his head to the side ] Yeah. Just me?
dungeongeek: (¤ You invited him into bed?)
...Neat visual-effects. I give it two thumbs up! Though it really can't compare to World of Warcraft but--

I mean, the raptors look completely real. ... And sound real. Huh.
dungeongeek: (¤ Forever's an awfully long time.)
[ So have a Simon awkwardly waving at the camera of the Dreamberry. ]

Somarium, I have one question for you. Who likes to rock out?

[ And a slightly goofy, expectant grin follows suit. ]
dungeongeek: (¤ Those must be some killer late fees)
[ Weak filter to Ange -- probably fail filter ]

Hey, Ange ... you okay? How'd that thing go?

[ END FILTER ]

So... I may regret this in the future but... there any place to learn how to snowboard around here?
dungeongeek: (¤ Every time I annoy him he retreats)
So...  Somarium.

[ Simon's kind of just lounging on a couch, looking bored but with a lot more colour in his face than previously. Someone's finally healthier. ]

Tell me... Where do the ducks go in the winter when the pond freezes over?
dungeongeek: (¤ As soon as I’m back on my feet handsom)
[Public]

[Simon's still sleeping, even though the Dreamberry has recorded that.  He's mumbling and tossing in his sleep, and on his lips is one name, mumbled loud enough for the device to pick up on before the feed cuts ]

Clary...
dungeongeek: (¤ Because I foresee many romantic picnic)
Ugh... my head, where am -- [ The disjointed voice trails off into a weak murmur a few seconds later ] Feels like that one time I drank too much Rockstar after staying up all night playing that game with Eric.

[ A few moments later, the video finally focuses, and a teenage boy is laying in the middle of a field, covered in dried blood and dirt. Lots of dirt. It takes him a moment of shifting, and groaning, and unexplainable touching of his throat that suddenly feels so dry, for him to notice the quietly beeping Dreamberry. ]

…What is this, some kind of game or something? It looks sweet… Not as good as what I’m used to, but hey, who can be picky at a time like this? Not like anything could really compare to something like World of Warcraft, especially on a hand-held ... thing like this. ... Is it a new-age DS or something? Doubt the graphics are that great either in actual combat and --

[ He cuts himself off with a cough, throat unbelievably dry and his mind unable to focus. ]
dungeongeek: (Default)
Hey, it's Simon. Either I can't answer the phone right now, or I'm just ignoring you. Take your pick. Either way, leave a message and I'll see what I can do.

[ooc: just mark if it's in character or not ♥ ]
