dungeongeek: (¤ I thought it'd be something cooler)

You know, you'd think I'd be used to this waking up after long periods of time stuff by now but...

I'm really not. [ a weak laugh and shake of his head. He has some apologies to make about these sleep comas and general nonsense. Especially to Ange and Izzy -- ]

Sooo... who wants to let me in... What crazy shit is happening now?
dungeongeek: (¤ Meanwhile I wanted to tell you that)
Hey, guys! Wanted to know if anyone was busy later on. I know everyone's been busy with the whole repairing and rebuilding crap but... I wanted to have a small celebration, you know?

Grab some drinks, some good food, and find a rooftop that's in tact somewhere in the city.

[filter to isabelle]

And I'd like you to come, Izzy. I know you don't like me right now, but do this for me.

It's my birthday.
dungeongeek: (¤ Meanwhile I wanted to tell you that)
...Uh, guys. Is it just me, or did we go from the fiery heat of hell to the frigid cold of the Arctic?

I don't even have a jacket for this kind of cold.

I'm torn between melting outside and freezing inside.

No happy medium ever, huh, Somarium?

[ private to ange ]
Want to get lunch?

[ private to isabelle ]
Can we talk...? I just noticed something kinda big.
dungeongeek: (¤ Meanwhile I wanted to tell you that)
...Oh come on, this again?

Couldn't you have picked a bit more convenient time? You're two for two here, Somarium. Two for two. Doesn't that mean anything to you...?

No? Figured not...

[ A sigh, and he finally regards the Dreamberry in hand. ]

This still works the same, right?
dungeongeek: (¤ Those must be some killer late fees)
[ A slight bit of coughing before the video cuts in. Simon looks a bit more rumpled than usual, his hair uncombed, and small bags under his eyes. Either he just woke up from a long nap, or he had been trying to fall asleep for far too long. Either or -- ]

...Has anyone else been feeling ... uh... hungrier lately? Kinda appreciated the whole 'dri-- dine when you want' business but [ He breaks off to cough, turning his head to the side ] Yeah. Just me?
dungeongeek: (¤ Forever's an awfully long time.)
[ So have a Simon awkwardly waving at the camera of the Dreamberry. ]

Somarium, I have one question for you. Who likes to rock out?

[ And a slightly goofy, expectant grin follows suit. ]
dungeongeek: (¤ Every time I annoy him he retreats)
So...  Somarium.

[ Simon's kind of just lounging on a couch, looking bored but with a lot more colour in his face than previously. Someone's finally healthier. ]

Tell me... Where do the ducks go in the winter when the pond freezes over?
dungeongeek: (¤ Because I foresee many romantic picnic)
Ugh... my head, where am -- [ The disjointed voice trails off into a weak murmur a few seconds later ] Feels like that one time I drank too much Rockstar after staying up all night playing that game with Eric.

[ A few moments later, the video finally focuses, and a teenage boy is laying in the middle of a field, covered in dried blood and dirt. Lots of dirt. It takes him a moment of shifting, and groaning, and unexplainable touching of his throat that suddenly feels so dry, for him to notice the quietly beeping Dreamberry. ]

…What is this, some kind of game or something? It looks sweet… Not as good as what I’m used to, but hey, who can be picky at a time like this? Not like anything could really compare to something like World of Warcraft, especially on a hand-held ... thing like this. ... Is it a new-age DS or something? Doubt the graphics are that great either in actual combat and --

[ He cuts himself off with a cough, throat unbelievably dry and his mind unable to focus. ]
